Assassin's Creed III is an upcoming game developed by Ubisoft. It is the fifth main title in the Assassin's Creed series, and is a direct sequel to Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The main portion of Assassin's Creed III will be set before, during and after the American Revolution from 1753 to 1783. The game will also feature the "present day" setting. Players will also experience more Desmond than in any previous titles. The game features a new engine, Anvil Next, built from the ground up.
