2K Games, he publisher of Spec Ops: The Line, announced today the addition of a two-player cooperative mode in its sandy third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line. This co-op update is free!

This co-op update accompanies both the single-player and competitive multiplayer modes with even more heads to plug bullets into, randomly exploding objects, and occasions for over-the-headset fist-bumps and adds four new objective-based missions to the Dubai-based game, providing a new challenge for players who’d like to bring a friend back to the bullet-filled sandstorms in which it takes place. The patch will be available for all three versions of the game by the end of today if it’s not already.
Spec Ops: The Line is available at $22.99 on Gamehos.com.
